2026 marks a big year for Cedar LNG as we ramp up for our most important construction season yet. Our team has been focused on ensuring that safety, environmental protection, and community interests are at the forefront of all that we do.

Construction Update
Cedar LNG positions Indigenous values of environmental protection and sustainability at the forefront of all project decisions. Cedar LNG is poised to deliver clean, responsible LNG by 2028 through a collaborative partnership with energy infrastructure leaders that is setting the standard for how energy projects are delivered in Canada.
This year, we anticipate completion of the pipeline that will deliver natural gas from Cedar Link to the marine terminal. Both the pipeline and marine terminal are under construction today, being led by Haisla Nation’s joint venture, Ledcor Haisla Limited Partnership. We are grateful to have the expertise of the Ledcor Haisla team, including many Haisla Members, in delivering world-class energy infrastructure, with safety, respect, and Indigenous values leading the way.
For Grant Omejc, a safety advisor with Cedar LNG and a proud Member of Haisla Nation, respecting one another and maintaining a safe work environment is critical to the project’s success.

Cedar LNG’s floating LNG (FLNG) vessel is progressing at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in Geoje, South Korea. The vessel is more than 50% complete and is scheduled to be delivered to Kitimat in 2028. When it arrives, it will be Canada’s first floating LNG facility, marking a new era of LNG development for Canada.
This year will also see construction of Cedar LNG’s transmission line commence, a critical piece of infrastructure that will deliver clean, renewable energy to power Cedar LNG’s operations.
Community Update
Cedar LNG is a community-driven project, being led by Haisla Nation on British Columbia’s north coast. As we advance the project, we are committed to being a valued member of the communities that host us.
Ensuring community members are aware of project activities and have opportunities to share their feedback is one of the ways we deliver on our commitment. Back in March, our team hosted a dinner with Haisla Members and provided a project update. Visiting Haisla Village and having the opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with our project partner is always a highlight for our team, and we look forward to many more opportunities with Haisla Members and the community at large.

We also believe in giving back to local communities. Recently, we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the impact some of our community investment funding is having in the region. Our team met with folks at Northern First Nations Alliance and Ksyen Regional Hospital to learn more about the great work they do to advance health, education, and long-term community resilience in the region, values that are core to us at Cedar LNG.
