Community Update – Understanding On-Board Accommodations and Safe Operations

Cedar LNG is Canada’s first Indigenous majority-owned LNG facility, being built here in Kitimat, British Columbia, within the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation.

As a floating facility, some aspects of how we operate differ from a traditional onshore facility. One of those differences is the use of on-board accommodation for certain operations and emergency response personnel. We want to provide clear information about why on-board accommodation is needed, how it supports safe operations, and what it means for our project and the community.

Please read our Community Update and FAQ for more information.
